The game

What is Forgotten Eras?

A hand-crafted Metroidvania, hybrid 2.5D and 3D, grown out of Slavic and Balkan folklore and built in Unreal Engine 5 by Behind the Hump, an independent studio in Larissa, Greece. A forgotten magic has been unleashed and the most infamous legends of the old tales are coming back. Ivan Tsarevich faces them with the Grey Wolf at his side.

When does it come out?

In 2027. We will give the exact date once it is certain.

Which languages does it support?

Supporting the game

How can I help?

Wishlist it on Steam, back the Kickstarter, join the newsletter and the Discord, and pick up the merch when the shop opens. A wishlist costs nothing and helps more than it looks.

Where can I buy merch?

Soon on Etsy and in a shop on this site. For now everything we sell is digital.

Are you looking for people?

Yes. Send your portfolio to behindthehumpstudio@gmail.com.
